Are your swimsuits handmade?
Yes! Each SwimThreads piece is lovingly handcrafted by me using high-quality yarns. No two pieces are exactly alike — that’s the beauty of handmade crochet.
Some of our beach accessories are not handmade items, however this is stated in the product description.
What materials do you use?
We use premium cotton and stretch-blend yarns and threads designed for comfort, durability, and a soft natural feel against your skin.
Do crochet swimsuits stretch or lose shape?
Our pieces are designed to maintain their shape when cared for properly. The yarn has a bit of natural stretch, but we recommend following our care instructions to keep it looking its best.
Are crochet swimsuits good for swimming?
Yes — they can be worn in water, but we recommend avoiding chlorine and harsh salt exposure when possible. Rinse immediately after swimming to maintain quality and color.
For our pieces that are not intended to be worn in water, this is specifically stated in the product description.

How do I know my size?
Each product includes a detailed size chart. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing down for a snug fit, as crochet naturally adjusts to your body.
Care & Maintenance
How do I wash my crochet swimsuit?
Hand wash only in cool water with mild soap. Gently squeeze (don’t wring) and lay flat to dry in shade. Avoid machine washing, bleach, or tumble drying.
Will my swimsuit fade or shrink?
With proper care, your piece will keep its color and shape. Always rinse after swimming and store it flat in a cool, dry place.

How long does it take to receive my order?
Each swimsuit is handmade to order. Please allow 2–4 weeks for crafting and an additional 3–7 days for shipping, depending on your location.

Yes, we ship worldwide! Shipping times and rates vary by destination.
Do you offer local pickup or delivery in Barbados?
Yes, local customers can arrange pickup or island-wide delivery. Contact us directly to coordinate.
